Hey everybody and welcome to #DigitalMarketingScript, I’m Carl Britton Jr and today we’re going to talk about making sure you’re creating content and not giving a damn!
You may have noticed if you watched the videos of episode 26 and this episode, that I am wearing the same shirt in both. It’s because I shot 26 and 27 back to back. Why did I do that? Because I’m going to the lake this weekend for some R&R and I’m not going to have time to shoot the episodes. I’m making sure that I’m creating content! It’s more important to me to shoot this content than it is for me to go, “Oh, I need to make sure that I’m not shirt, episode after episode.”
You need to make content when you have the time. If you have a bank of three hours, make content! It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a change of clothes! It doesn’t matter if you have a light kit for your video, it doesn’t matter if you have your nice microphone! Make videos, write blogs, make photos!
It is more important to get content out than it is to plan ahead and make sure that you have six different shirts if you’re going to shoot six videos. Who cares if you’re wearing the shirt? Who cares! Make sure that you are creating content, because that is what is most important! If you have time, get to work!
