#DigitalMarketingScript Episode 22: Two Things To Do Right Now!
Hey everybody, I’m Carl Britton Jr and today I’m going to give you two tips you should take advantage of right now!
First, you should go back and review your last 10 Facebook posts. See which ones got the most engagement and boost two of those posts for five dollars. You will see some great results. You don’t want to boost the ones that didn’t get any results, because obviously that didn’t engage people. The ones that got really great numbers, boost those for five dollars. That’s not a lot of money. We’re not trying to kill it with the most expensive boost possible. We want to give those posts that get the good views a little more time to shine. Then, after a few days, go back and see how effective that boost was! Did it just get a few more views and likes or did it blow up? Before you know it, you’ll know what sticks and what doesn’t!
Second, jump on google and go review three to five businesses in your community that you really love. Maybe you have a relationship with the owner of the business, maybe you don’t. It would probably benefit you more if you do, because if you scratch someone else’s back, they’re more willing to scratch yours. Eventually you want to build this relationship inside your community. Then people will say, “Oh hey, they’re good people” when they speak of you. If you show your fellow business owners that you are there for them and support them, they will in turn do the same. The whole idea is to eventually get them to review your business, but you have to give before you get.
Oh you thought there were only two? I’m going to give you a little bit of bonus! Everyone gets caught up on quantity. Oh I only have 135 followers, oh I only have 289 likes. Don’t worry about that. As long as they are quality people! Quality follows, quality likes, quality people engaging with your material. These are people that are more willing to buy from you, who have already bought from you and are trying to come back for more. They see you as a valuable piece of their community. What’s the point of having 10,000 followers and none of them buy from you? Do not get hung up not the quantity of the people following you on social media, but of the quality. The quality is what will bring you your business, not the numbers.
