I’m Carl Britton Jr and today we’re going to talk about Facebook live streaming!
Facebook released weeks ago the opportunity for all businesses to live stream video on their page. It’s an excellent, excellent resource. One that allows you to connect instantly to your audience and share with them. There’s a sense of urgency when it comes to live broadcasting, one in which people feel they need to be a part of. We’re going to give you a few tips on how you can utilize Facebook live streaming for your business.
The first thing you can do is live stream an event. If you are going to your state association trade show, live stream all of the vendors and everything that you’re looking at. Show that you are involved in finding out what’s new and next in your industry. Go to the idea share or idea exchange and show that you’re being very progressive and honing in your skills. Most of your audience will never have been to such an event. Share with them this special occasion. It’s almost as if you’re peeling back the curtain to real the wizard of Oz. Let them in to this other world and people will respond.
The next thing that you can do is host an interview. If there’s a physician or a veterinarian, that’s sending you a lot of referrals, why don’t you highlight them? Give them some credit and have them come in and do an interview with them about what makes them different and why they utilize you for your services. This is a good way of introducing the unsung heroes of your field. Who doesn’t want to feel like a rockstar and be interviewed? Make it as informative or as fun as you want, just make it! I think it would give a really great perspective on that.
You can also do a behind the scenes but I would like to caution you first. Make sure there are no sensitive documents such as patient names, medications, things like that. People want to see your compounding facility, how you make this thing or how it looks like. When you are fitting someone for a custom diabetic shoe. Show these extra speciality services and what makes you special. The behind the scenes is really excellent and, I think, it would be really awesome. If you were able to do a Health Tip Tuesday at 2. You can get on every single Tuesday at 2 o’clock and talk about a relevant. In the news, health thing currently, the Zika virus would be a great topic.
